Cargo Cosmetics Contour Palette Review and Swatches.

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while- I've been so busy with my last year of university, but I'm almost finished so I'll be posting a lot more frequently now. Recently I've been trying out pretty much every contouring palette I can find.  So far I've bought contouring palettes by Sleek Make-up, Barry M Cosmetics, Number 17 and Cargo Cosmetics, with a Morphe Brushes palette on the way!

The palette retails for £22 which I think is reasonable, despite it being quite small. I bought my palette from feelunique.com for around £17 as it was on offer.  I had a bit of trouble, though. The palette arrived slightly damaged which I managed to fix myself with some glue but feelunique kindly refunded me the entire amount- hooray for awesome customer service!

Now for the swatches! All colours are nicely pigmented which I liked. The contour shade was dark enough for my medium skin but not too dark that it wouldn't suit paler complexions. The blush is a lovely soft pink shade which really brightens up the face. I love the highlighter in this palette as it is white enough to highlight my skin, most are too similar to my own skin colour and I just end up looking like I have shimmery skin rather than a highlighted cheekbone- this highlighter has just the right amount of shimmer. One thing I really loved about this palette was the ability to build up the colours easily; the contour shade never looks 'muddy', I can make sure I don't go overboard with blush and highlight some areas that may need it more than others!

I use Real Techniques brushes- Contour, Powder and Blush, for contouring my nose I use BareMinerals concealer brush.
